| I love to swim. I'm gonna say one of the happiest memories I have was
finding out my new home in Tupelo, MS had a swimming pool. Not that
other houses on Zentwood Rd. don't have swimming pools, but for me
personally to have my own private pool, where I could swim at my own
leisure was a very grand thing for a small boy transferring schools
during the 2nd grade. I've lived here for 13 consecutive years, the
longest I've ever lived in one place (places lived in order of time
spent there: (Tupelo, MS/Greensboro, NC/Pawtucket, RI/Tampa Bay,
FL/Atlanta, GA) and looking forward to swimming every summer was always
a special thing for me. However, a very special thing occurs around
this time of year, during the twilight hours of the evening. By turning
on the pool's underwater light, you can summon some pretty swift flying
mammals, also known as bats, to buzz the water around your head as you
swim. Since the light attracts the bats food source, which are of
course small insects (mosquitoes), the bats go into a frenzy of
dive-bombing and buzzing the pool for a meal. The reward for a person
or persons swimming at this time is a very entertaining show, as the
bats fly and weave there way around your heads looking for food, coming
close enough to thus mentioned person or persons so distinct features
of their bodies can be seen, but not close enough to graze skin or get
tangled up in hair. Tonight was the first night this summer that I went
swimming at this twilight bat hour (mostly I swim during the day for
sunshine), and I was rewarded with a most spectacular spectacle of
aerial acrobatics. Water was dripping from my
much-longer-than-that-hair-in-the-picture, and
my-much-more-scraggly-facial-hair-than-in-that-picture as I stared at
the flying mammals do their thing, wondering if they are looking at me
as they eat and saying "hey, check out the human floating in the water,
I wish I could do that, it looks pretty interesting." It just made me
think about the time I've spent here, and the things that I've
experienced over the years. So I'm sitting here, typing my little bat
story, listening to my contemplative Toshiro Masuda's Sadness and
Sorrow on repeat (it's great thinking music, despite the ominous sound
of its title), and thinking about what'll happen during the second half
of 2006. I've finally decided on a major, and a course of action for my
life, and as things stand now I'm on a very good path to graduating in
2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in History, then I'm off to study law at
a graduate school the following year. | | |
| I've been hanging out, making movies with people. Here are some of those movies:

I think both of them are incredibly funny (as intended). Everyone I
know is pretty damn funny when I think about it. End of story. Balls.

| Alright guys, new colors, new
background, I'm loving it (that is right, not hating it, I'm loving
it). Going to Florida this weekend, I'm pretty excited about it. I
might even get to meet the big celebrity Richard Self! A girl I hadn't
talked too in a while came and found me the other day...I'm pretty
happy about it . Well, I'll post more when I have some more to say
about it, adios amigos.

| Edit: I gotta stop writing
this ridiculous crap, cause right after I post something funny happens
and I love it. I've been hanging out with my friends a lot, playing
games and just making up funny ideas and movie plots. We play Smash
Bros. Melee, we watch Sonny Hare try to eat a giant $15 Mugshot's
burger that he can't finish in time. Life is grand.
With a change in major I've
stumbled across a lot of opportunities to travel. Seeing the world is
something I've always wanted to do, and I'm going to jump on every
opportunity I get. I'm very tired of this boring place. Adios.
